Augmented spring

It is not always possible or necessary to arrange an expensive full-scale production for a one-time promotion as part of a campaign. In this case, the client aimed to emphasize a special offer on a particular product variety during the spring season. The challenge was to develop a captivating image within extremely tight deadlines. Additionally, the shoot was conducted on behalf of the client without supervision from the production team, which resulted in certain unique characteristics of the raw materials delivered for production.

Experience

Since the footage was intended for TV broadcast, there was little room for compromise on the quality of the output. Although the raw material wasn’t shot according to CGI production standards, many challenges were addressed in post-production with meticulous rotoscoping, 3D tracking, and a linear compositing workflow. This resulted in a surprisingly impressive final image, especially considering the tight two-week timeframe.
